Booking Terms and Conditions

Accommodation Terms

Guest rooms at The Clifton Motel must not be used for any unlawful purpose.

All by-laws, rules, and regulations of The Clifton Motel, along with any reasonable direction given by Management, must be complied with at all times.

Parties or functions are not permitted anywhere on the grounds of The Clifton Motel or within guest rooms.

Each person signing a registration card (“the Guest”) acknowledges that these conditions apply to themselves and to any person occupying or visiting The Clifton Motel at their invitation or with their authority.

Occupancy begins and ends on the dates shown on the booking confirmation.

Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out is by 10:00am for direct bookings.

Only the number of guests shown on the booking confirmation may stay overnight in the guest room.

Personal bedding or additional beds are not permitted.

Additional guests are subject to Management approval and may incur additional charges.

Additional guests are not permitted to sleep on floors or furniture.

Management reserves the right to inspect guest rooms with reasonable notice, or without notice if deemed necessary.

If occupancy ends or is terminated, the Guest must immediately vacate the property.

Guests must vacate the room after receiving a warning if requested by Management.

Management is authorised to take necessary action to enforce eviction and remove a Guest’s belongings if required.

The Guest authorises Management to charge the Guest’s credit card for any loss, damage, or charges incurred during the stay.

Additional cleaning required on departure may incur an extra charge.

Every effort is made to accommodate specific guest requests; however, these are not guaranteed.

No refunds are provided for early departures.

No animals or pets are permitted on the grounds of The Clifton Motel.

Cancellation Policy

Room Rate Policies

Flexible Rate

Free cancellation up to 2 day prior to arrival. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the first night’s accommodation.

Non-Refundable Rate

This rate cannot be changed or cancelled. Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Multiple Night Stay Rates

Free cancellation up to 2 days prior to arrival. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the first night’s accommodation.

Payments & Charges

Payments must be made by credit card or EFTPOS.

The Guest is responsible for all charges incurred, including damage, loss, or additional cleaning required during or after the stay.

Smoking Policy

All guest rooms and interior areas at The Clifton Motel are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is not permitted on balconies. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas.

Breaches of this policy will incur a $400 cleaning fee. Any fire brigade call-out resulting from a breach will be charged to the responsible Guest.

Parking

Free onsite parking is available. No booking is required. Guests must park only in designated areas.

Limitations

Neither Management nor the property owner is responsible for loss, damage, or theft of a Guest’s personal property during their stay.
